My name is Ipoademihan Temilade Akinola

What are your hobbies?

I love having Bible Discourse, Reading Christian Fictions,Volunteering For Non Profits and Holding Intelligent Conversations.

Have you always wanted to study law?

Yes

I was this girl who loves to help people solve their problems from my teenage years. I grew up in communities where I didn't like how the female folks were treated. That triggered me first, then as I widened my knowledge, Law became the appealing option for me. So Law is my first to go career niche.


What positions have you held/do you hold in the faculty?

I am the Current Vice President of the Law Students Society, Olabisi Onabanjo University. 

I am also the Deputy Information Technologist of the Legal Magnates And Company.

What has it been like for you in the Faculty of Law, OOU?

It's been all about growth. I don't believe that any experience I am privileged to pass through is coincidental. I am  human, and growth is inevitable. The experiences has been mind shaping for me.
With the stress and workload that comes with this faculty, what has kept you going?

Well

I live by this principle that anything worth doing at all is worth the sacrifice. I have my low days, but I brace up myself whenever I remember my why. Why I am studying Law or why I am alive at all.

God literally is who keeps me going. 

The stress is inevitable, but the Peace comes from within.

What advise would you give who would love to excel?

The person should define what excellence means to him; that's where the clarity all stems from

Quite contrary to the opinion of the world,the journey to success is all an illusion without the person of GOD involved.

So I would advise,make God your priority,He's the only one that makes sense when every other thing fails.

Build quality relationships with people. True excellence is in people not in mere achievements. I am very cautious and jealous of my inner circle as an individual because people are the real deal. Build quality relationships with like minded individuals and productive folks. They will be all that will be left after all. True Investment lies in people.

Also,passion is key. It may take a long while to understand what truly makes one happy, but we evolve as humans,we shouldn't be too quick to place a definition on what and what not we can achieve. We should take our time to grow.

That has been helping me.

Yeah finally, do you have any philosophy of life?


Hmm

Yea, I do. A life well spent is a life lived for God. This boils down to the truth of the  depravity of  every man and His need for His Saviour.
